    BEHIND THE LENS

Born and raised in the Scottish Highlands, Ewen is the jack-of-all trades behind Halfcut Media. Following an outsized appetite for bicycle-based misadventures, Ewen has been working in the bike industry as a mechanic and photographer since leaving university with a master’s degree in history.

Currently based between his native Scotland and Queenstown, New Zealand, Ewen splits his time between shooting anything on two wheels with HCM, swinging spanners and SRAM bleed kits for Vertigo Bikes, and continuing the elusive search for the perfect loamy steep.
